I had a mixed experience at the Ryokan. While the room was clean and had a lovely ocean view, the dining experience left much to be desired, especially for Western guests. The hot spring baths were a highlight, particularly the one with an ocean view, but the outside access could be uncomfortable in the colder months. Overall, the friendliness of the staff was a plus, but the overpriced nature of the stay was disappointing.

Rooms
8.0
The room was spacious, clean, and had a beautiful ocean view. However, the bed was a bit hard for my taste. I would recommend going for a traditional Japanese room with futon bedding for a more comfortable experience.
Service
6.0
The staff were very friendly and welcoming, but there were some issues with service during meals, particularly for Western guests who felt the food options were inadequate.
Location
7.0
Finding the location was initially tricky, but once you figure it out, it's quite convenient, though not exactly central.
Dining

The food was beautifully presented and delicious, but as a Western guest, I felt shortchanged compared to what other guests received during meals. There was a lack of variety in the breakfast options and some confusion with the beverages.
Facilities

The Ryokan features two hot spring baths, one of which has a stunning ocean view. However, the necessity to go outside for the best bath could be a downside during colder periods.

My stay at the ryokan was a memorable experience. The incredibly scenic location and spacious rooms made the visit worthwhile. The dining experience was a bit hit or miss, and while I enjoyed some aspects of the service, there were moments where communication could have been better. Overall, I think it's a valuable place to enjoy a traditional Japanese experience.

Staying at the ryokan was an unforgettable experience, with a beautiful view of the bay and an authentic atmosphere. The meals were impressive and enjoyable, although the location was challenging to navigate initially. The rooms were spacious and comfortable but could use a deep clean. Overall, the price felt a bit high, especially given the service inconsistencies during dining.

Our stay at the ryokan was a memorable experience, offering stunning ocean views and clean accommodations. The onsen baths were a highlight, especially the outdoor one with breathtaking scenery. However, it was a bit pricey, and the internet being at an extra cost was unexpected. Overall, a lovely place but not the most economical option.

Staying at this ryokan was a truly memorable experience overall, with stunning views and a spacious room that added to the charm. However, dining had some hits and misses, with one meal not quite hitting the mark and prices for drinks being on the high side. The baths had incredible views but occasionally lacked the heat I was hoping for. Nonetheless, it's a place I would love to return to for another stay!
